Building Orientation Angle Estimation based on Dispersion Feature of Polarimetric Synthetic Aperture Radar data

(in English) Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is collects information by transmitting and receiving microwaves. Orientation angle information of building groups is widely used for analyzing microclimate in urban areas. Therefore, developing effective methods for estimating building orientation angle attracts great. Currently, the major estimation method is using the rotation angle which is a by-product in scattering power decomposition. However, in the case of the building orientation is big, the estimation accuracy decreases. This paper proposes accurately estimating building orientation based on dispersion feature of rotation angle.
