(in English) A chirp sequence radar is promising for automotive applications for an automated driving car and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Wide deployment of automotive radars will result in serious inter-radar interference which causes false detection and/or miss-detection of targets in future. Therefore, it is expected to mitigate inter-radar interference and to improve the frequency utilization efficiency for automotive radar applications. In order to solve this inter-radar interference problem, this report proposes an advanced chirp sequence radar using a narrowband interference canceller which reduces false detection of targets and enables simultaneous operation of two chirp sequence radars at the same frequency band. This report describes design of the proposed chirp-sequence radar using narrowband interference canceller, evaluates its basic performance by computer simulation and demonstrates the feasibility of the proposed scheme.
