Currently, the number of small base stations is being increased with the development of 5G communication technology. In this study, we examine the miniaturization of filters used in small base stations. In order to improve the out-of-band attenuation characteristics of the filter, it is usually necessary to increase the number of stages, which contradicts the miniaturization. Therefore, we use a method to obtain the attenuation characteristics equivalent to the large-stage filter at a small-stage filter by forming attenuation poles. Previous studies have shown that circuit equations can be derived for a half-wavelength resonator two-stage filter and the three attenuation poles can be controlled independently. In this study, the theory of deriving the circuit parameters required for simultaneous control of the attenuation poles and passband performance is investigated. |
