Development of truncated cone shaped reflective plate type aerial ultrasonic source using planar reflective plate

(in English) The technology which delivers the powerful aerial sound wave with the sharp directivity to the long distance is required. As a sound source for this purpose, authors have examined a sound source in which a complex reflective plate is attached to a circular transverse vibrating plate of aerial ultrasonic sound source. In this study, the truncated cone shaped reflective plate which combined the planar reflective plate in which the sound wave radiated from the vibrating plate repeatedly reflective plates in vibrating plate and reflective plate was examined. In addition, the directivity of sound wave, sound pressure, and attenuation characteristics of sound waves obtained at a long distance were investigated when the length of the truncated cone shaped reflective plate was changed.
