Influence of Basic Characteristics of Visual Information on Temporary Memory

(in English) Human can use visual information for judgement via visual memory which contained by brain functions. However, we cannot control our visual memory as we wish. We are often confronted with that we didn’t remember important information. On the other hand we remember it doesn’t matter thing clearly. In this study, Authors focused on relation among working memory and visual information elements including hue, value, shape, size and placement. Participants observed and memorized stimuli of visual information elements between fifteen seconds. After observation, participants described each elements detail for evaluation. Results suggest visual information elements are influence to visual memory. Moreover, influence factors are depending on the evaluation criterion of memorize task.
