(in English) Digital transformation is being accelerated to realize sustainable society with diversification of life and work style. Under such transformation, the application of radio access network for various use cases with different requirements is being considered. To satisfy these requirements with realistic cost, virtualization and open interface design of radio access network are essential and the advanced wireless network control, which flexibly controls the configuration of the wireless infrastructure and the resources, is one of key technologies. In addition, wireless technologies for further capacity enhancement are also needed. In this presentation, we show the prospect for 6G radio access network, key technologies, and NEC’s activities for 6G.
