A prediction of disease levels using ocular information during Dementia tests

(in English) Ocular information was observed during a dementia test for three subject’s groups: Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) patients, mild cognitive impairment (MCI) patients, and controlled participants. The number of participants was 26. Both features of eye movements and pupil responses were compared between subject groups and tests. There were some significant differences in these metrics between subject groups in the earlier tests. A possibility of prediction for the subject groups was examined with Random Forest technique and a data expansion procedure. The performance of predicted results and contributed features were discussed.
