A Reproducibility Support Tool Using Execution Log for Jupyter Notebook

(in English) Jupyter Notebook is a tool for managing programs, explanatory texts, and execution results, and is widely used in various fields. It has a feature that code can be executed in an arbitrary order, which facilitates trial and error, but it is pointed out to cause loss of reproducibility. In particular, it is difficult to reproduce the information lost by multiple executions and deletions of a program. In order to prevent the loss of reproducibility in Jupyter Notebook, we propose a developer support tool that maintains reproducibility by using the execution log. Its functions include deleting the code that causes errors, deleting duplicated code that is unnecessary for reproducing the results, and outputting the code that reproduces the results of the original file. The proposed tool is effective in continuous development because it enables to reproduce the situation during the development. Also, it can reproduce the output result with less code than the original file. In addition, the proposed tool can reproduce the output result with less code than the original file, which enables the re-use of the program source.
