In this paper we present RF circuit combined inkjet-printed silver wiring and copper foil wiring. Since the inkjet printing technology enable to customize wire pattern easily, it is suitable for custom production. However silver ink for printing has a higher resistivity than copper foil. The high resistivity causes loss in the RF circuit. In order to solve this problem, we propose combining inkjet wiring and copper foil wiring. First, producing mutually usable circuit boards with copper foil wiring, and then printing minimum amount of silver ink wiring on the boards based on demand. This method realizes custom production of various circuits. In addition, it can reduce inkjet wiring area and loss in RF circuit. |
