Contradiction Detection Method for Constructing Team Strategy

(in English) In team sports, it is important to consider an action to be taken for each situation as a team strategy. Team strategy is constructed through discussion of looking back on each games. However, since players do not usually remember all strategies that have been built so far, they sometimes build strategies whose situations are the same or are included in other strategies. Such strategies prevent players of taking the unique action for the situation. The purpose of this study is to propose a system that supports players to construct consistent strategies. It stores constructed strategies and checks whether the strategies are consistent. If the strategies are inconsistent, it indicates them and promote them to consider situations that can discriminate the inconsistent strategies.
