Multiplexing by the superimposition of electromagnetic waves with different orbital angular momentum (OAM) can be considered as one of the means for increasing the communication capacity.A terahertz(THz) band oscillator can be built by using a Resonant tunneling diode (RTD) that possesses negative resistance characteristics and an LC resonant circuit.By coupling the RTD oscillators, it is expected that THz band electromagnetic waves with OAM will be generated, and data transmission will be possible by phase wave propagation on the coupled osillators.Previous research has been limited to simulations of THz oscillation with a single RTD oscillator and its coupled synchronous system.In this study, we designed several systems in which multiple RTD oscillators were coupled, simulated them with Spice, and confirmed the THz oscillation with OAM and phase waves. |
