(in English) We focused on graphene, a one-atom-thick two dimensional carbon sheet, as an electrode material for optically transparent antennas. Graphene has unique properties such as high carrier mobility, high optical transparency, and noticeable flexibility. In this study, we fabricated the graphene film with a low sheet resistance 80 Omega/sq and a high optical transmittance of over 90% by stacking the graphene films and carrier doping. We fabricated and characterized the optically transparent monopole antenna based on the three-layer stacked and carrier-doped graphene film with a ground plane. By measuring the radiation properties, we demonstrated that the graphene film behaved similarly to metal. Furthermore, the radiation efficiency of the antenna was 52.5% which is comparable to half of that of the metal antenna.
