Institute of Space and Astronautical Science(ISAS,JAXA) has developed synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) system that is compatible with 100kg class small satellite since 2013. A new start-up company Synspective and JAXA have performed the first demonstration in space in 2021 February. This paper reports the outline of the small SAR that has been developed by ISAS and the preliminary result of its demonstration in space. |
