(in English) With the advent of the big data, IoT, AI era, all digital contents continue to increase. Sparse modeling is drawing attention as an information processing model for extracting useful information hidden in a large amount of data. It assumes that most elements of huge data are sparse, and extracts the essence of data by focusing on non-zero elements. Compared to deep learning, sparse modeling has aspects such as 1) learning with small amounts of data, 2) low computational complexity, and 3) explainable AI. This paper focuses on the machine learning aspect of secure sparse modeling that works with lightweight and small amounts of data for use as edge AI.
