Wireless power transfer can be expected for the improvement of convenience and Improved occupancy rate of electrical equipment equipped with a battery, but since the positional relationship between transmission and reception coils is not fixed, to maximize power conversion efficiency, necessary to select the optimum operating frequency for each relationship between transmission and reception coils. In this paper, we focused on the method of searching for the optimum operating frequency in the wireless power transfer circuit, and we propose the method of searching for the frequency that maximizes the power factor of the power transmission side circuit and the transmission efficiency between coils, without using wireless communication. The circuit examined is a composite resonance circuit with series resonance on both the power transmission side and the power reception side, and the operating frequency range is 79-90 kHz. By detecting the input current of the circuit on the power transmission side, it was clarified that the optimum operating frequency can be searched without using wireless communication between power transmission side and power reception side. |
