Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) A wireless relay network, which is a temporary communication system using drones in the sky, has been proposed to deliver messages such as damage reports and safety confirmation in wide areas affected by large-scale disasters. In this paper, we propose a flight method for drones intended for environments with non-uniform user distributions. The proposed method is based on coverage control and utilizes the Voronoi cell with a density function. We consider the cases where the user distribution is available in advance and where it is not. The simulation results show that the proposed flight method is more effective than the existing method in terms of average message delivery delay especially when the user distribution is more non-uniform.
