Handwriting Verification Combining Minutiae Matching and DP Matching

(in English) In recent years, the use of pen tablets to sign has been increasing, and it is thought that the need for handwriting verification technology will also increase accordingly. DP matching uses time-varying pen tip coordinate values and is one of the mainstream in conventional handwriting verification. On the other hand, minutiae matching is a classic and proven method and has been used in fingerprint verification so far. In this research, we propose a new handwriting verification that combines DP matching and minutiae matching. From the results of the evaluation experiment, EER was 7.8%, and it was confirmed that the accuracy of our proposed method could be improved compared to DP matching alone.
