In recent years, the use of radio waves in seawater has become attractive research fields regarding remote sensing, wireless communications, and wireless power transmission. However, there are few reports on wireless communication experiments for data transmission that exclude low frequency bands such as the LF (Low Frequency) band. For this reason, in order to evaluate wireless communication technology using radio waves in the seawater, a setup for experiment on radio communications under seawater has been developed. In this paper, the system configuration of the underwater channel sounder and the experimental results using the underwater channel sounder are described. |
