Verifying the Method to Generate Stage Data for Rhythm Game Using Machine Learning

(in English) Recently, the video game development industry has exhibited significant growth, which resulted in more intense competition. Thus, it is important to shorten the time to develop one game.

It is creating 'stages,' a set of data annotating what the person who plays the game must do, that takes a significant amount of time to create. This is especially the case for creating stages for a genre of games called 'rhythm games' in which the player performs actions based on background music, since creating stages for such video games requires a deep understanding of musical grammar.

Some studies focus on the past human-made stages and on the feature of the music and utilize machine learning methods to automate the process. In this study, we reproduce the method used to verify its effectiveness and propose a method to improve the conventional method.
