[Invited Lecture] A Study on Estimation of Propagation Loss for Communication between Drones under Bridges

(in English) In the era of Society 5.0, cyber-physical space interacts with each other, and there is a need to design, evaluate and verify a new radio systems in a short time. In order to develop a propagation loss estimation model that can be emulated on a cyber-physical system, a propagation loss model of drone-to-drone communication using bridge inspection as use case is studied in this paper. An adjusted two ray model taking into account the effect of bridge was considered. Besides, by analyzing the ray paths from the ray tracing simulation, a propagation loss estimation model using machine learning was proposed.
