(in English) Three-dimensional microstructural analysis of the lung is useful for precise understanding of lung growth and disease progression. 3D architecture of the alveoli is not fully understood. Lung specimens were prepared using Heitzman's method, and nanoparticle contrast agents were used to analyze alveolar capillary beds. Lung microimaging was performed at beamline BL20B2 at SPring-8. 3D micro-CT images of the lung were measured for image analysis of alveolar groups. The primary septum and secondary septum of the alveolar group were classified to analyze the lung micro 3D structure.
