We have been studying a real-time laser displacement measurement system based on correlation between phase-modulated signal and intensity modulated probe light. In this study, we have developed a method to extend the measurement range without deteriorating the spatial resolution, which uses the sign of the phase signal detected simultaneously with the amplitude signal. The effectiveness of the proposed method is proved by measuring the displacement exceeding the limit in the conventional method. |
