An accuracy of the Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) measurement position is directly related to the quality of the GPR profile, and the improvement of the positioning accuracy is one of the essential issues. In this report, we applied the Real-Time Kinematic Global Navigation Satellite System (RTK-GNSS) positioning technique, which provides centimeter-level accuracy, to 1D GPR measurement of a buried pipe, and confirmed its effectiveness in the measurement. In the 2-D GPR measurement for subsurface structure analysis, antennas with different frequency bands were used, and it was confirmed that both the depth range expansion and the range resolution for the 3-D subsurface structure analysis could be achieved while reducing the labor for analysis. |
