Harmonics Suppression in Magnetic Field Leakage Based on Input Voltage Design for Magnetically Coupled Wireless Power Transfer

(in English) Magnetic field leakage generated by magnetically coupled wireless power transfer systems is regulated because they cause interference to existing wireless communications and electromagnetic interference to nearby devices.In order to reduce the harmonics in the magnetic field leakage generated by the transmitter and receiver, this paper proposes a design method of the input voltage waveform based on the estimated harmonic voltage at the rectifier input. Circuit simulations and experiments were carried out to confirm that the proposed method can reduce the harmonics in the magnetic field leakage.
In experiments, it was confirmed that the proposed method can suppress harmonics in the magnetic field leakage generated from the transmitter and receiver with or without filters.The 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th harmonics were designed to suppress when using the circuit without filters and they were reduced up to 14.4 dB.When using LC filters, the reductions of 3rd and 5th harmonics were up to 9.6 dB.
