In the aviation sector, weather phenomena greatly affect on flight efficiency and regularity. The presence of convective clouds, wind direction and wind speed, temperature, and freezing level are needs to be considered of weather information. One of the meteorological data sources is from the ARPEGE 0.5, NCEP/GFS 0.5, and ECMWF/IFS 0.5. The aim this study was to analyse the performance forecast output from the weather model by qualitative?s observational data. Based on the verification between the output of the weather model and the observation data for a flight route in Indonesia, from Palangka Raya (WAGG) to Cengkareng (WIII), it shows that in the climb out position an altitude of 35,500 feet and the descent position with an altitude of 14,575 feet, there are Cumulonimbus clouds. It was recorded at the EGUKO, SAGAS waypoints because the aircraft entered the Cumulonimbus cloud area. The results of these observations if compared to flight documents data issued by BMKG at the time of the release position takeoff-climb, cruising, and descent-approach have high accuracy. Based on the Wind temp for the Palangka Raya to Cengkareng route, generally the wind direction from North East (NE) - East (E) with windspeed of 10-20 knots, temperature -44?C to 29 ?C. The results with high accuracy of weather models can improve flight safety. |
