A microgrid mainly consists of distributed generation using renewable energy. The microgrid is expected from various viewpoints as the effective utilization of renewable energy.
It is well known that the grid faces to the fluctuations of distributed generation and the reduction of inertia due to increasing in the number of inverters.
In order to solve these problems, the power smoothing by battery and the virtual synchronous generator providing virtual inertia to distributed generation are proposed.
In this report, the transient stability analysis based on a reachable set is introduced to the microgrid with battery as virtual synchronous generator. |
