echnologies that seamlessly converges optical networks and wireless networks with small delay and low power consumption are necessary for the next generation Beyond 5G network. In this work, we report on the recent progress of the UTC-PD-integrated HEMT photonic double-mixer, that down-converts optical data signals to a wireless frequency band and simultaneously from the wireless frequency band to an intermediate-frequency (IF) band. We also discuss about its future prospects. |
