Electroactive supercoiled polymer artificial muscle, which uses self-coiling that occurs when a conductive thread is twisted, is usually made by twisting it up while suspending an appropriate weight, and it results in about a quarter of the size of the thread used as material. Therefore, it is necessary to move the weight across three times as much as the desired conductive thread artificial muscle in the vertical direction, which increases the vertical dimension of the fabrication equipment. In this study, we attempted to solve this problem by using a constant load spring. |
