[Fellow Memorial Lecture] On Fundamental Researches of Control and Performance Evaluation of Mobile Networks

(in English) As mobile networks, various networks such as cellular mobile communication networks, multi-hop wireless networks, DTN etc. have been considered. In this report, we choose Information Floating as one of mobile networking technologies, and consider various viewpoints necessary for researches on control and performance evaluation of mobile networks through observation of past researches. First, we consider control and performance evaluation of Information Floating. Next, we consider behavior changes of mobile nodes and traffic control in the application of Information Floating to guidance in disasters. Finally, we explain that Information Floating, which has been considered as a method for information dissemination, has ability to virtually accumulate data, and consider researches on applications and performance evaluation of the virtual accumulation by Information Floating.
