Radio propagation simulations are divided into site-general and site-specific methods, and are widely used in the construction of wireless communication systems. The latter two methods includes the ray-tracing method and the FDTD method. However, the calculation results obtained by these methods usually have errors compared to the actual measured values due to the difference in the information of the propagation environment used in the calculations. In this report, we focus on the stochastic space characteristics of the error, and report the results of our study on the error mitigation method by ordinary kriging in the estimation of MIMO channel capacity using the ray-tracing method. |
