Analysis of Functional Connectivity of EEG during Driving

(in English) It is desirable to elucidate the functional whole brain network related to driving proficiency. In a previous study, we compared the functional connectivity between beginner and expert drivers using the node degree of the phase lag index (PLI) while watching a driving scene; subsequently found that the node degree at gamma band was predominantly enhanced. However, there is no detailed analysis of the functional connectivity between electrodes using the pairwise PLI and no comparison with conventional power analysis. In this study, the functional connectivity was evaluated using pairwise PLI. The result showed that the functional connectivity of the gamma band was enhanced in the occipital region.
