Modeling for radio propagation analysis by quantum computing (2)

(in English) Radio wave propagation analysis in a multipath environment is based on searching for radio wave propagation paths between transmission and reception points. Here, in order to improve the analysis accuracy, it is necessary to search for multiple propagation paths that contribute to the propagation characteristics, but the amount of calculation increases exponentially as the number of structures to be considered and the number of interactions with structures increase. On the other hand, at present, attention is focused on quantum computers that enable ultra-high-speed operations, and quantum annealing machines that specialize in combinatorial optimization problems have already been put into practical use. Here, it can be said that the searching for radio wave propagation paths is one of the combinatorial optimization problems, so we have proposed new propagation path model applicable to the quantum annealing machine. In this paper, we extend the proposed model to a more realistic model and clarify its validity by using simulated annealing method.
