Local oscillator (LO) phase synchronization using UHD timed commands has been used as a method to establish phase synchronization of USRP devices. This method is the primary method of establishing phase synchronization for the types of daughter boards for which LO cannot be supplied externally. However, there are few reports on the results of quantitative evaluation of synchronization accuracy. In this report, the authors attempt to measure the phase synchronization accuracy by focusing on the USRP X300 series with SBX-120 daughter boards, which is one of the LO phase synchronization methods implemented and released by the authors. |
