(in English) Professor Jiromaru Tsujino, who passed away on August 17, 2020, and was engaged in education and research activities at Kanagawa University from 1967 until 2008 when he retired. In this article, the author, who is a graduate of the Tsujino Laboratory and continues the research on the application of high-power ultrasonic vibration as a teacher at National Institute of technology, looks back on his memories of the Tsujino Laboratory and conference trips, and introduces the research and personality of the late Professor Tsujino. Professor Tsujino was a world leader in the application of high-power ultrasonic vibration, such as ultrasonic welding using complex vibration, and was a very dynamic and positive teacher.
