Analysis of Object Detection Model Towards Precise Colorectal-Polyp Detection

(in English) We propose new visual explanation methods for a trained object detector toward precise automated polyp localisation. Several previous works reported fast polyp detectors based on YOLO. However, these detectors predict only rectangular bounding boxes for polyps. To achieve precise detection of a polyp's location, our visual explanation methods highlight important patterns of an input image in the polyp detection. By analysing a well-trained YOLOv3 with the proposed visual explanation methods, we can extract locations of polyps.
Experimental examples demonstrated the validity of the proposed methods.
