PWM Control of Secondary Side LC Resonant Converter -- Consideration of control frequency --

(in English) LC current resonant converters are expected to be applied to various circuits because of their small size, high efficiency, and low noise. In this paper, a high-voltage and low-current DC-DC converter is fabricated for use in a power supply circuit for a vacuum tube amplifier. The circuit is miniaturized by employing a secondary-side LC series circuit using the leakage inductance of the secondary side. In addition, the LC series resonant converter becomes difficult to control by frequency control when the output current becomes light load. In this paper, PWM control is proposed. In addition, the condition of Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) is discussed.
