We focus on renewable energies, which are important for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and examine the solar power generation potential of photovoltaic power generation, which is one of the main power generation methods in urban areas. In this study, in order to estimate the amount of photovoltaic power generation, we constructed a 3D model of a city using aviation LiDAR data and basic map information, and simulate to estimate the amount of solar power generation when all the building tops and all the walls except windows are utilized in the model. In addition, a linear prediction model was created to estimate the total amount of power generated by utilizing the building facade surface of all buildings in the area by extracting the features that indicate the layout shape of the urban area from the urban 3D model. |
