(in English) Phase-sensitive optical amplification (PSA) and optical-phase conjugation (OPC) have recently received broad attention as the optical nonlinearity mitigation method for fiber-optic communication systems. PSAs have unique characteristics such as low noise amplification and phase noise suppression. Moreover, if the PSAs achieve amplitude noise suppression, transmission performance will be improved compared to the conventional systems. In the OPC, optical back propagation is conducted through phase-conjugated (PC) wave transmission; however, reserve band is required for PC wave generation. In this paper, we describe the waveband-shift free OPC and the amplitude noise suppression method by self-phase modulation and PSA.
