Liquid phase synthesis of near-infrared phosphor Ca2GeO4: Mn5+ for in vivo bioimaging Yudai Nitta, Hiroto Sanzen, Koutoku Ohmi (Tottori Univ.) EID2021-7 |

In our previous studies, Ca2GeO4:Mn5+ has been synthesized as a near-infrared (NIR) phosphor for bioimaging by the solid-phase reaction method. It was confirmed that the photoluminescence (PL) shows a NIR emission at around 1000 - 1300 nm, which corresponds to the wavelength region so called “biological window”. In order to apply it DDS (Drug Delivery System), in this study, we have investigated the effects of hydrothermal temperature and atmospheric annealing treatment after synthesis. As a result, NIR emitting Ca2GeO4: Mn5+ with a particle size of 400 nm has been obtained by combining the hydrothermal synthesis at 210 °C and atmospheric post annealing at 1300 °C. |
