In this paper, we have developed an archery game supporting system for visually impaired. In the previous studies, there were problems such as low accuracy of sensors and errors based on the form of players. Therefore, we developed an acoustic sighting device using a camera with object recognition function and its basic experimental evaluations. The parameters such as the number of tones and the PWM period were optimized by preliminary experiments. In the shooting experiment, blindfolded players (non blind person) shot 9 to 12 arrows and measured the distance from the center of the target. The experimental results shows that there is high correlation between the sight camera image and hitting position of the arrow on the target, and the proposed system is useful in the practical archery game. |
