A curvilinearly tapered dielectric rod antenna that can be achieved high antenna gain has been revealed. In this paper, a dielectric rod antenna with stair-step configuration based on the conventional curvilinearly tapered structure is investigated for its manufacturability at high frequencies for 6G. We design antenna structure with the number of steps Nstep = 3 taking into account for the manufacturability of prototype at 28 GHz-band. The proposal antenna has almost the same characteristics as the conventional that 3 dB beam width was 15 degrees and antenna gain was 22.4 dBi at 28 GHz respectively. |
