This research group has proposed a SiO2/TiO2 dielectric multilayer film hetero-core optical fiber refractive index sensor fabricated by sputtering method. On the other hand, the formation of multilayer films by the layer-by-layer (LbL) method is more efficient than the sputtering method and can be easily fabricated by a wet process. In this paper, we propose a hetero-core optical fiber with alternating multilayers of poly-L-lysine and TiO2 microparticles deposited using the LbL method, and evaluate the refractive index characteristics according to the number of layers. As a result, it was confirmed that the number of absorption peaks increased as the number of layers increased, and that light absorption occurred even at 100% glycerin solution, resulting in linearity for a single wavelength. |
