(in English) Expressways are an important social infrastructure that promotes interaction and cooperation among regions, and regular inspections are necessary to maintain their safety. On the other hand, the time and labor cost required to inspect all expressways is enormous, and the automation of inspection is urgently needed against the background of a serious shortage of human resources.
In this paper, we report on a method for automatic inspection of expressways by detecting changes in expressway conditions, especially changes in road signs and deterioration of dividing lines, using dynamic map information and images acquired by drive recorders.
