In a linear-stationary audio, as frequency components of signal are independent each other, an effect of noise in supersonic frequency region is not expected to cause noise in audible frequency region. An audio system in replaying a music should be considered a non-stationary system, because of non-stationary output which cause fluctuation in bias of power supply circuit. In this study, we assumed that noise in supersonic range generates noise in audible range by amplitude modulation for non-stationary system. Amplification factor in audio amplifier fluctuates related to fluctuation of audio signal. This fluctuation expects to cause amplitude-modulation to carrier of noise in supersonic region. To confirm this process to generate noise in audible region, we carried out a simulation that the supersonic noise produces an audible noise related with fluctuation of amplification factor. And these facts are also confirmed experimentally. |
