Recently, with the demand for high-speed network, all-optical logic gate is an essential function for sup- porting high-speed data transmission.
We design reconfigurable all-optical NOT and AND gates using a quantum dot semiconductor optical amplifier by controlling the input signal power input and frequency shift of optical filter.
To show the feasibility of this scheme, we evaluate the performances in terms of the output waveform and its extinction ratio. |
