Comparison of Heart Rate Variability Indices in Humans by Long Time Analysis of Ambulatory Cardiac Bio-signals

(in English) Human physiological activities are controlled by circadian rhythms, which have a period of about 24 hours. Circadian rhythms are one of internal clock, related to sleep-wake rhythms, hormonal rhythms and body temperature rhythms. In addition to circadian rhythm, organism also has various other biorhythms, with the infradian rhythm being longer than 24 hours, and the ultradian rhythm being shorter than the circadian rhythm. About 2 days rhythm, circabidian rhythm has a period of about 48 hours in duration, and it has been shown that human sleep-wake rhythm follows this cycle. In this study, we analyzed the electrocardiogram (ECG), body acceleration, and posture obtained from a 72-h continuous holter ECG of healthy subjects, and examined circabidian rhythm and heart rate variability (HRV) indices, time domain and frequency domain. As a result, we found several HRV indices with robustness.
