Experimental study of Magnetic Field Coupling WPT with Inductance Load and Relay Coil

(in English) The WPT efficiency improvement by inserting a parasitic coil between the transmitter and receiver coils and loading inductance to all coils was experimentally investigated in the magnetic field resonance type wireless power transfer. The results show that both inserting a parasitic coil and loading inductance significantly improved the wireless power transmission efficiency from 7% to 45%. On the other hand, solely inserting parasitic coils or loading inductance exhibited no significant efficiency improvement. The frequency response waveform is almost the same as the analytical value. In order to investigate the reason why the measured efficiency is smaller than the analytical value, we measured the resistance component of the loaded inductance and examined the relationship with the decrease in Q-value.
