Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this study, we develop a high-power rectenna array for simultaneous power information transfer (SWIPT) for liquid crystal displays. In this SWIPT, the heat generation of the rectenna array is expected to be a problem. We attempt to construct the rectenna on a single substrate. In the proposed rectenna, the rectifier circuit is composed of a coplanar waveguide (CPW), which is loaded on the ground plane of the receiving antenna. In this paper, we show the design method and simulation results of the CPW-fed charge pump rectifier circuit. The simulation results show that the designed rectifier circuit has the rf-dc conversion efficiency of 52.1 % and the output dc power of 1.46 W at the frequency of 2.45 GHz, input power of 2.8 W, and load resistance of 1400 Ω.
