A study of a decentralized reputation-based trust evaluation system

(in English) In order to evaluate the reputation of an unknown party, such as a new purchase or new contact, it is common to collect reviews from others. However, there are some concerns, such as fake reviews and falsification by review platforms when trying to collect information from others beyond one's knowledge. To solve these problems, we use trust propagation to confirm the other party's trustworthiness in a social connection and decentralized infrastructure to prevent tampering and verify the trustworthiness of the platform. This paper discusses the challenges and implementation of trust propagation using existing methods and decentralized infrastructure.
