Trends of Service Quality Research Derived from Study Title Analysis of CQ Committee

(in English) Technical Committee on Communication Quality (the CQ Committee) started its activities around the time when the communication service on the Internet started. For more than a quarter of a century, it has collected many research presentations regarding information and communication services and network quality. Analyzing the relationship between the transition of communication technology in society and the research activities of the CQ Committee is considered to be useful in exploring the direction of future activities of the CQ Committee. Targeting at 3034 technical reports’ titles that appeared in the technical meetings organized by the CQ Committee, this report analyzes the titles by text mining methods and extracts keyword appearance frequency and co-occurrence relationship. Consequently, the relationship between the research presentations and advances in communication technology is clarified through specific duration analysis.
